This page pays tribute to all the best Bombers around. Unfortunately it can not contain Che Cockatoo Collins, Ricky Olarenshaw or Gary O'Donnell because it has recently been discovered that they have been releasing game plans, inside info and other important documents to the public and consequently have been removed from the team.

This firing full-forward has definitely been Essendon's best young talent since putting on the black and red jersey in 1995. In his first game he kicked 24 goals 6 behinds, a league record. Ever since then he has been averaging 16 goals per game and this year topped the goal kicking chart with 167 goals and the contested marks with 624. After receiving the John Coleman medal he came second in the Brownlow tally and was awarded the Norm Smith medal for best player in the grand final.

With the Silvagni medal for best full-back of the year it would be hard not to credit Dustin Fletcher. In a recent match he picked up the second best full-forward in the league, Tony Lockett, and finished the game with 8 goals, 4 behinds, 31 spoils, 43 possessions, 32 marks, 34 handballs and held 'Plugga' to one mark, one behind.

James Hird is the all-time greatest receiver of the lesser well known Ted Whitten medal for soft-cock of the year, having received the award 5 times, since it began. Hirdie has topped the ladder yet again for free kicks for and also for missed games, he only only participated in two. Often being compared to Wayne Carey, this half-forward flanker (and I mean that in the nicest way possible) has won two Brownlows, three Norm Smith medals and five premiership flags, which makes him well above the Roo boy.

Undoubtedly the toughest player in the AFL, this 4'19" tank can play all over the field, which has been proved by the Pineapple-head tracking system when he ran 7.261km in a single game. He is also the fastest player in the league, running the 100m in 5.77secs. It is impossible to sum up Gary Moorcroft in the space provided so I will link this page to the Moorcroft Tribute Page.
